"Shanghai let's go" - Day 6

Tuesday Day 6 - our last day and some of us spent it a little under the weather.

Well after getting 3 hours of sleep what better to do then explore Shanghai for one last day. There was just so much more to see and a hard night was not going to stop us. Today before we travel back to Dalian we had to visit the Jin Mao Tower the 4th highest tower in the world. It was a must and I was very glad went.
We waited all week for good weather to go to this tower. I am glad we waited till that last day. That day was beautiful and clear . Because of this we were able to see so far off into the city.

Looking down the center of the tower, it seemed to go on forever.
After the tower tower we were on our way back home. The trip was over, so sad. I guess I have to go back to work to make more money to do this kind of thing again.

Shanghai - oh the parties! Our last night

Zapata's Bar - I think we rocked it!

Now this was the night out to remember! Dancing on the bar free margarita's and a few of us never got to bed till 6:30. Oh gosh was the next day hard.

Dancing on the bar!

Tequilla Shots for all, the free drinks for females was over I guess.

This night we met up with 2 other female teachers at the bar. Wow these teachers know how to party. And of course Gillian or none teacher is there with us, random dude.
, Our token male that join all us ladies for the night out. Meet Adam from Australia.

After this Bar closed it must have been time to continue to go out because 5 of us moved our party to another bar. Gillian, Adam, Karla, Lauren and I, we just couldn't let the night die till morning.
ok it must be time for bed.

"Shanghai let's go" - Day 5

Monday Day 5 - Another Day of water cities

We spend the entire day visiting old water cites and after I did the day before it got very repetitive. These places where more tourist centered and I was too tired to move around and search for new and interesting displays. Today we visited Zhouzhuang and Pudong.

First off to Pudong.

We were always having our picture taken so sometiems we would get our pictures with them too.

Then to Zhouozhang. Here we got to watch an opera and a music preformance.

After the River cities we were back on our way to the hostel and for dinner so exhasted.
We all slept on the bus home. After I got back to Shanghai I went to get my hair cut, a little language barrier lead to me having short hair. Opps.

Shanghai - oh the parties! Cont'd

Night 2 - Now we are at the Red Room.

What a night it was there. We rules that bar. Dancing on the stage, showing off pole dancing moves and meeting others at the bar. The most favorite night of everyone that went.

This was definitely my favorite night, what good friends and good times all of us girls had, it was too bad some of us were under the weather and had to pull out of this event. But there are always more nights we have together to have a blast.

Our memory of Bernadette Cooling off.
Everyone before we leave to head to another bar. Oh the night was on! Too bad it busted up at the next place and we went home.

"Shanghai let's go" - Day 3

Saturday - the day of getting lost everywhere.

Local bus trip to the French Concession, packed bus very similar to home, pack as many on as possible and go. The French Concession is like shopping in Vancouver on Robson street, very expensive stores. While we were walking the French Concession we went to look at an old house can't think of his name right now and visited Fuxing Park.

Fuxing Park.

This man is fishing in the same place the kids swimming pool is.

After our day of getting lost looking for Mexican food and other sites, we go to the Acrobatics.

Us at our seats, us being acrobatics and then the trek home in the RAIN. Getting lost again looking for the Irish Pub now.

"Shanghai let's go" - Day 2

Friday
We visited the Shanghai Museum in People's Square. The Shanghai Museum was great huge and a lot to see. I loved the costumes, the jade carving and the paintings.
This is a Copper carving of a wine carrier.
After the museum we walked through peoples square and went to D Mall and underground mall. It was huge! Over welming too much too many people not for me, but if you are into getting deals on cloths and accessories it is the place for you. I bought a pair of leopard print fuzzy heals. When use will I find shoes like that but in China.

This is us in the park looking for the mall, standing outside the museum.

After the Museum we meet up with everyone else, who is also shopping in Shangai, so all can get together to eat Japanese food.
