"Shanghai let's go" - Day 1
I went on my first holiday in China. And where better to go for your first trip in China then Shanghai. It was beautiful there; loud, busy, active, colorful, lights everywhere. I went there with 7 other girls from school and met up with Gillian an old roommate from Kelowna.
Day one - Plane trip, to the hostel, walk the Bund, boat cruise and a local bar.
Bright an early Thursday we arrive at the Dalian Airport to wait for our plane for 2 hours, a Maintance problem. But we arrive in Shanghai safely.

After we arrive in Shanghai we are off to our hostel, the Captain's Hostel. 7 girls in one room, it is either a party or no one will get sleep for the week.
Once we are settled in it is time to explore, so we walk to the Bund which is just across the road from our hostel. It is wonderful, the architecture is amazing.

We are off to dinner and to our hostel to get ready for the night. At the hostel is a pub on the top floor it has the most beautiful view. So a few drinks there and we are on to our boat cruise of Huangpu River, which had great views of the Bund and River front. There was a group of 14 that went on this boat cruise but it was packed with people other then us.
